SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS AND LOANS


U.S.-based study: Eligibility Requirements

The AGBU offers interest-free loans to full-time graduate study only. Students of Armenian descent, who are U.S. residents or citizens, and are enrolled in most competitive colleges and universities in the United States are eligible.

Students applying from Armenia only qualify for grants for study in the U.S. only if the large majority of tuition and other expenses—75 percent or more—has already been secured.

The following areas of Graduate Study will be considered:

MASTER'S DEGREE IN:
Communication, Education Administration, Public Administration, International Relations. Ph.D. IN ARMENIAN STUDIES (final two years only)

Limited number of loans available for FIRST PROFESSIONAL DEGREES in Law (J.D.), Medicine (M.D.). Other selected areas of graduate study, including Theology, will be considered.

Students must start repayment of their loans one year after graduating or leaving school.

Awards are in the range of $2,500-7,500.

Deadline for returning a completed application is April 1.
