This month, we celebrate a number of achievements for AGBU entities far and wide, including Detroit's success at fundraising for Armenia’s various infrastructure projects, Cairo's philanthrophy for a local children’s hospital, Lebanon's interscholastic activities, YP Paris' recent relaunch and YP Cologne's kick-off event.
In Armenia, AGBU President Berge Setrakian met with the country's new president, Serge Sarkissian, Prime Minister Tigran Sarkissian, and His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, to discuss issues of mutual concern.
On April 17, AGBU launched its online photo archive on the popular Flickr website, and already it is a great success. This growing online resource, which represents a vast collection of historical Armenian Genocide-era photographs and contemporary events, has already received over 34,000 views since its launch.
