AGBU ARARAT Futsal team of Cyprus won the national championship title for the sixth time in its history, after beating GC School on March 12. Ararat is now waiting for the draw of the European Futsal cup (UEFA 2007) to represent Cyprus.

Next month, AGBU will conclude its year of centennial celebrations, as leaders and volunteers from around the world come together in Yerevan, Armenia, for a conference to discuss future programs and activities. Looking forward to the next centennial, AGBU members will bury a time capsule in Armenia on Easter Sunday to be opened in 2106.

This month, Armenia’s media has given extensive coverage to AGBU's recent donation of 12 state-of-the-art ultrasound machines to hospitals in Armenia and Javakh, which, including the 10 donated last July, brings the total of donated machines to 22. Those interested in seeing Yerkir TV's coverage online (in Armenian) can click here.

In New York-area news, photo galleries from the March 3 Centennial Celebration at the New York Historical Society are online, Manhattan-based Ararat Quarterly just published its newest issue devoted to Karabakh, and FOCUS 2007 launched their website for July festivities in New York, which will toast 20 years of the New York Summer Intern Program.
