Within four short months, AGBU E-Newsletter already has thousands of subscribers and has become a quick and convenient source of information about AGBU.

This month we marked the success of AGBU's Centennial kick-off event in Egypt, which drew hundreds of guests to toast the organization's 100 years of promoting the Armenian heritage around the world. In the next few months, the Egyptian event will be joined by a slew of new celebrations that will continue the festive spirit.

As summer approaches, CAMP NUBAR is gearing up for a full season of activites for hundreds of campers that are submitting their applications in the next few weeks.

The expanding AGBU.ORG ONLINE STORE has gone live to offer fast, easy credit card processing for books, films and music. Recently added DVDs include, the ground-breaking American documentary The Armenian Genocide, the critically acclaimed Armenian film Vodka Lemon, and last fall's highly popular A Mosaic of Music, Dance & Performance as Vibrant as Armenia performance by AGBU Nork Children's Center from Yerevan—a touring production that entertained over 7,000 people across eastern North America.

AGBU Celebrates Centennial Birthday in Cairo & Alexandria
Hundreds from 17 Countries Attend Weeklong Festivities in Egypt

Between April 12 and 18, 2006, AGBU Egypt hosted the kick-off celebrations for AGBU's highly anticipated year-long centennial commemoration that began in Cairo and will conclude in April 2007 in Yerevan, Armenia. For this landmark in the history of the thriving organization, leaders and supporters gathered in the city of its founding to assess the past achievements and explore the future challenges that remain fundamental to securing a dynamic role for AGBU in years to come.
