This week, festivities in Egypt mark the start of AGBU's Centennial year. Along with a week of activities to commemorate the organization's 100th birthday in Cairo, a host of other global programs are planned in Beirut, Paris and elsewhere.

This month will also witness an important first with the PBS broadcast of a riveting new documentary by Andrew Goldberg, entitled The Armenian Genocide.

With a potential reach of over 90% of the American and Canadian television-viewing public, the documentary has already stirred a great deal of commentary from the L.A. Times, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and even PBS itself. Most broadcasts of the groundbreaking program will take place on Monday, April 17— check local listings for the latest information.
