Submission Policy

Contributions and editorial correspondence should be addressed to The Editor, ARARAT, in care of AGBU, 55 East 59th Street, New York, NY 10022-1112. Inquiries about advertising rates and subscriptions should be addressed to Hripsime Arissian. Inquiries about the rates of payment should be addressed to the editor. Payment is made about two weeks before publication.

Manuscripts should be typewritten, double-spaced, and accompanied by a stamped, return-addressed envelope. The name and address of the author should appear on the first page of each manuscript submitted. Authors are requested to allow ten weeks for an opinion on their manuscript (usually by two readers). SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE MADE ON A PC-COMPATIBLE DISK OR CD IN A STANDARD TEXT ONLY FORMAT BUT MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PRINT-OUT.

The magazine favors material pertaining to subjects of Armenian interest. Articles and stories of no more than 4,000 words are preferred. Reviews are assigned but anyone wishing to review a book should query the editor. A free year's subscription is given to anyone whose "Letter to the Editor" is published in the magazine.
